12 Dimensions Critical Reflection

Part 1

Based on my CMI results compared to my group I can make the following analysis about the four dimensions planning, destiny, and decision making and connecting. The planning dimension has two polarities which are time and people, it shows if the person is more interested in the time or in people and how they will deal with these things. The dimension of destiny has two polarities directive and directed its shows if the person is taking action and control and doing what they want to do because they want to do or if the person directed by things or people from their environment. My third dimension is decision making and has two polarities which are relationship and rules, it’s about how people act with their colleagues its talks about if the people change their mind about their decision if they know you or if they are rules oriented they with think about what is best by the rules. My last dimensions connecting and has two polarities which are inclusive and exclusive, it’s talk about those who do not be able to be in mix society or to work with the others and the inclusive those who mingle with others in the work or everywhere.

Part 2

Based on my report results in the planning I am very time oriented I agree with the result because I like to stick to the time just like the most of my group and there are people even more time oriented than me. Based on my report results in the destiny I’m very directive person I agree with the result because I am allowed and can do what I want and that gives me a sense of freedom like almost people from the group but there are people less. Based on my report results in the decision making I am a rules oriented person I agree with the result because I believe if I am in a place to make a decision I will think about how to get the best outcome not my relation to the person. Based on my report result in the connecting I am exclusive person and I agree with that because our environment is very exclusive and I can’t be in mixed place unless I had no other choices.

Part 3.

I think 30% the result will be different in 5 years because its depends on the people and customs if they change their habits and their ways  but I believe if it will change it will be different for the better. I don’t mind if it will different after 5 years or it will be the same because in the end I am happy with my result and I have no objection to be the same after 5 years.

Amish

They are the most weird people in America, they are kind of people that cannot accept any change in the lifestyle and living until now they are different from the people in the style of their lives and livelihoods they believe their own simple lives, until now they conserved their lifestyle without electricity or technology.

Amish keep to themselves and not associate with the rest of others ,also they dress in old-fashioned clothes and dark colors because they believe that bright colors or patterns attract attention to a person, they should marry in their own community they cannot marry "the English," as they refer to non-Amish people If they do, they are excommunicated from Amish life and shunned.

 #2

Emirati Women are straggling to find suitable job for them and they were not allowed to work in mixed environment as some tribes are still conservative in terms of norms and traditions that women should work in female-only environment and it is considered a shame to the family members if one of their relatives is a women working outside their household.

Our traditions comes from our religion as some people interpreted a saying "Men are maintainer of women" as Men should be the one in control and the one who should be the provider for his family.

However nowadays men are more aware that there are more meaning behind that saying and it has nothing to with who should be in control and the provider for the family. which is why women are working in different fields and in different environments.

Working in a mixed environment should not be considered a shame, however mixing working professionally and behaving wrongly is the issue. As there are rules and limitations on how to work with the opposite gender.
